Qui Nhon is a small coastal city in Vietnam and the capital of the Binh Dinh Province. The city was officially founded in the late 18th century, but its origins reach back much further. Today the city is one of three tourism centers of the region, bordered by stunning beaches. Visitors can admire the Long Khanh pagoda, founded in 1715 by a Chinese merchant and flanked by a 55-foot Buddha. The pagoda's resident monks preside over the city's religious affairs.
