Yonaguni is a popular destination for scuba divers around the world. It is home to the "Iseki", an ancient underwater monument discovered in 1980. The monument itself is a must-see, but the waters surrounding it are notable as well. This sub-tropical island offers crystal clear water visibility with beautiful coral, unique rock formations, and plenty of marine life to admire. The most popular diving season for Yonaguni is during the winter, when Hammerhead sharks can be seen schooling on a daily basis.
