Penghu is an archipelago made up of approximately 90 small islands in Taiwan. Makung (Magong), located on the main island, is the largest city in the island group. It is home to the Rainbow Bridge, a path along the seashore that provides picturesque views of Xiyu Island across the water. Taxis can be used to get from place to place, and Magong Harbor provides ferry rides to select locations. Notable sites in the archipelago include Central Street, Four-eyed Well, Whale Cave, and Mazu Temple. Penghu is also a popular destination for wind- and kitesurfing as it is one of the windiest locations in the region.
